Where does the wood come from?

Most of the wood I use for my art is ethically & responsibly sourced from my grandparent's land in Louisiana. We use trees that have fallen during storms or that have been cut down for safety reasons. The trees get cut up, sliced, and repurposed for my art! For now, pieces larger than  7 inches have to be outsourced until I can invest in a larger bandsaw.

How do you seal your paint on wood/glass?

My go-to sealant on all of my pieces is resin, this makes the pieces nearly indestructible & protects the paint like nothing else.   The backs of my pieces are sealed with polyurethane to ensure the art is preserved and lasts a lifetime.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All packaging is 100% recyclable, compostable, or made from recycled materials. What does this mean? The materials used to package each order are derived from recycled materials, made of compostable materials, OR have been refurbished and reused from past purchases I've made (all of which can be recycled). Because of this, your package may not be as aesthetically pleasing, but please take pride in knowing we are bettering the environment.

When will my order be shipped?

Processing time can range from 5 to 10 days. Shipping can take up to 7 days  on domestic orders and up to 2 weeks for international orders.  Please be patient as I can not control the speed of  USPS.

How can I request a custom piece?

Please send an email to swampsprouts@gmail.com for serious commission inquiries.
