MEET THE ARTIST
Tristen (noun)
/tris-tən/
A swamp-dwelling art creature disguised as your new favorite earth fairy.
Grows best in sunlight, solitude, and spontaneous conversations with mushrooms.
Often spotted barefoot, whispering secrets to trees or creating what some call “art” and others call “magic.”

I’ve always been creating something — flower petal potions, paintings in my childhood bedroom, “save the earth” flyers. For a while, I thought art had to be the extra thing. Something I did after work, not instead of it.
Then, after years of chasing the “right” kind of success — one that kept me distant from nature, my body, and my creative spirit — everything cracked open. I started listening more. Painting more. Saying no to boxes that didn’t fit and yes to the parts of me I’d tucked away.
Now, I make art that feels like sitting on the porch with your favorite people. It’s intuitive, earthy, and sometimes a little weird (which we love here). No matter what I create, it all comes from the same place: the quiet moments of connection between myself and the natural world.
You can usually find me sketching with a mug of tea, curating a moody playlist for motivation, or channeling messages from my tree besties. If this sounds like your kind of rhythm, you’re in good company.
Welcome to my swamp.
